Today we start our one day city tour. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, and will visit the Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt‐house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Venture to see the Temple of Literature. Built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university. The temple highlights the importance Vietnamese society places on education. Lunch will be at Green Tangerine restaurant in Hanoi. In the afternoon, we will take a cycle ride around the Old Quarter. We will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology, which has displays dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following that is a brief stop at a coffee stop at Cong Caphe to enjoy authentic Vietnamese coffee. Lastly, we will have a chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. Dinner at Bun Bo Nam Bo restaurant (Hang Dieu street).

We meet at the lobby of the hotel at 08:00 a.m. and transfer to Halong Bay. After a scenic drive including a stop‐over in Hai Duong city, we arrive in Halong Bay at 11:30 a.m.
We board our traditional junk to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese buffet as we head to Vung Vieng, a floating fishing village. Leisurely cruise though the natural wonders of Halong Bay, passing the most beautiful spots in the Bay like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves. Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck, enjoy a range of daily activities including kayaking, swimming or just relaxing. Vietnamese cooking demonstrations and Happy Hour take place on the Sundeck in the afternoons and a sumptuous set-menu dinner awaits you in the evening. You are free at your leisure in the morning for shopping or relaxing at beach.
In the afternoon, we will start our walking tour of the captivating ancient UNESCO heritage town of Hoi An, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. In the evening witness a wonderful transformation as the town gets ready for the Full Moon Festival. Experience Hoi An come alive with festivity, be delighted as colorful traditional oriental lanterns come to light the city at night. Dinner at Cargo Club restaurant at rooftop. We start the day with a visit of Cai Be's colorful floating market and island, cruising among local barges of fruits and vegetables. An optional stop can be made at local workshops where we can see how rice paste, coconut candy and pop‐corn is made. The row boat will take us into the countryside. It's interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves, visit the local farmers, with an opportunity to speak with them.
Then you will take a ride in a horse carriage to get to Mien Tay riverside restaurant for a traditional lunch of the Mekong river - Elephant Ear Fish. After lunch, we will walk around and and enjoy local exotic fruits while listening to traditional music. One more thing to do on this trip is biking! It is so amazing to bike around the village to see the local farms, houses, and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, before we explore the Angkor complex. This morning we will take a ride on an elephant’s back (two persons per elephant) from south gate to Bayon temple. Visit Angkor Thom beginning with the South portal, which was designed by Jayavarman VII, the last king of Angkor and a great builder. It is surrounded by a moat and a powerful wall laterite. There are a lot of temples located in Angkor Thom complex such as Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. Lunch at Viroths Siem Reap restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO, with its soaring towers and bas‐reliefs. It is one of the most extraordinary monuments made, built in the 12th century in honour of Vishnu. Within these walls enclosing an area of 1025 meters by 800 meters, or 82 hectares, is the largest monumental Group of Angkor. Then we continue to Phnom Bakheng for a view of the sunset. Early in the morning we will enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Angkor, then return to the hotel for breakfast.
We will continue to Ta Prohm (Jungle temple) built for king’s mother in the late 12th century; we will discover PrasatKravan. The temple dates back to the early 10th century and was built during the reign of King Harshavarman I, Pre Rup. Later explore the Funerary Temple of Rajendravarman II, and the Oriental Mébon of the 10th century, a Hindu temple rising on the central island of Baray Oriental. Rajendravarman II built the Mébon as a shrine to his ancestors. This temple is only accessible by a relaxing boat ride. Then, Have lunch at Café Indochine restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit Ta Som, NeakPean and Preah Khan Temples which were built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII (1181‐1219 AD). Make your own arrangements for dinner this evening.
